My 30 Day Detox Plan

Life can be a very difficult and treacherous journey at times. There are an infinite amount of obstacles that can manifest itself to the point of almost permanently discouraging us from going on. This is definitely how I have been feeling ever since turning 30 years old this past month. All of the weight of the world can eventually become so heavy that your life becomes more stagnant than ever before.

I have decided to try a 30 day detox to help me let go of what no longer serves me and shift my perspective to a more positive one. I encourage you to follow along and do the same! One thing that I have learned throughout my career as a holistic nutritionist is that you cannot fully heal by just eating healthy alone. You need to work on healing yourself on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. Physical exercise is not nearly as effective if you treat it as only a physical and superficial activity alone. Physical exercise can also help you to heal each of these four parts of ourselves if done correctly.
My absolute favourite yoga channel on YouTube is by a yogi named, Adriene. This month she launched a free 30 day Yoga Camp program on her YouTube channel, 'Yoga with Adriene.' She includes a daily mantra and has a more holistic approach to her yoga practice. Following a program like this would compliment a 30 day detox program perfectly. It will help to reflect on your life, shift your perspective and release any stagnant or blocked energy.
